Leading up to its formal launch, OneRequest reached out to several Requesters to get the tires rolling on its Concierge service. Jeremy and Shana Mummert jumped at the opportunity to avoid the car shopping process. The Mummerts had been on-and-off car shopping since the beginning of 2020. Since the Mummerts have two sons, safety and space were top priorities for them in their future car. After attending a car show in January 2020, they knew they wanted a 2020 Buick Enclave Essence due to its numerous features including cargo space, third row seating and safety ratings. Their car shopping activity slowed down during the early months of the COVID pandemic and then in November 2020 they were presented with the OneRequest Concierge opportunity.
Knowing exactly what car to look for allowed the Concierge to provide results in two to three days after receiving the initial request. The Concierge presented the Mummerts with options from all over the country.
After discussing the search results one-on-one with the Concierge, they ultimately decided to purchase a 2020 Buick Enclave from a dealership in Madison, WI. The vehicle was delivered straight to their driveway. Jeremy and Shana were then able to complete all paperwork from the comfort of their home in under 30 minutes. Jeremy was thrilled with the relatively small amount of time he had to spend. “As far as the concierge itself… I would say no longer than two to three hours in communication. That includes phone calls, emails and filling out any paperwork,” said Mummert.
Car shoppers in 2020 spent an average of 14 hours and 53 minutes shopping for a car, which is up nearly one hour from 2019’s shopping time of 13 hours and 55 minutes. (Cox Automotive) With the help of OneRequest Concierge, Mummert was able to save close to 12 hours.
