OneRequest Dream Garage

We all have that one car that we wish was sitting in our garage, ready to hit the road at any second. For some, it’s a luxury car or a classic car, and for others maybe it’s a fictitious car from a movie. The good news is there are no wrong answers to the ageless conversation starter: what’s your dream car?

Well, OneRequest decided to fill our own dream garage with our employees’ dream cars. No car was off limits and many had trouble narrowing it down to just one (which is obviously not allowed). Keep reading to see which cars made the cut.

Koenigsegg Agera RS
Chase, Sales
Koenigsegg Agera RS

The first car is easily the most expensive. Chase loves Koenigsegg’s attention to detail and overall visual aesthetics, but it’s the race car performance engineering that ultimately swayed him from another choice.

1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am – Bandit Edition
Josh, Sales
1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am

Josh’s dream car stems from awesome memories watching re-runs of the Smokey and the Bandit movie. He also added, “Plus, it’s just a flat-out awesome car.” We couldn’t agree more, Josh. The firebird on the front definitely adds some much-needed pizzaz to the OneRequest dream garage. Maybe all cars should have a bird on the hood?

2024 Volkswagen I.D. Buzz
Natalie, Marketing
2024 Volkswagen I.D. Buzz

This vehicle hasn’t been released yet, but Natalie would love to have an electric vehicle in the future. The Volkswagen I.D. Buzz, an electric spin-off of the VW Bus, seems like a perfect choice. Although the lime green is eye-catching, Natalie hopes Volkswagen eventually releases the I.D. Buzz in a white or baby blue color.

Ferrari 430 6 Speed Gated Manual
Andrew, Sales
Ferrari 430 6 Speed

When it comes to car, Andrew knows a thing or two. He chose the Ferrari 430 6 Speed because it is the last of the true “analog” mid-engine Ferrari’s. What does analog mean? Who cares? Look at that thing! In Andrew’s opinion, this Ferrari has the best engine, the best interior and awesome horsepower. What’s a dream garage without a Ferrari?

DeLorean from Back to the Future II
Chris, General Counsel
Back to the Future DeLorean Time Machine

The DeLorean is easily one of the most popular movie vehicles, so it’s no shock that Chris chose this car. Why did he choose the DeLorean? And why choose the car from the clearly inferior sequel instead of the classic original movie? “It flies, duh.” Makes sense. Looks like the OneRequest Dream Garage will be Marty McFly approved.

1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 (Eleanor)
Doug, Sales
1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500

Doug’s choice is a classic muscle car that everyone knows. It screams “legendary” and in Doug’s opinion, the look is impeccable. He specified that his dream Ford Mustang would be the “Eleanor” pictured above. Another classic car added to the garage!

1970 Chevelle SS LS6
Brett, Concierge
1970 Chevelle SS LS6

It seems like the OneRequest team has a sweet spot for classic rides. Here is Brett’s choice. Simply put, Brett chose the 1970 Chevelle SS LS6 because it’s a beast!

1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing
Nate, Finance
1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing

Nate went WAY back, but we can’t deny that his dream car is pretty cool. Nate is particular: his dream 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing has to have a silver exterior and a red interior (as pictured above).

Ferrari 488 GTB
L.J., IT
Ferrari 488 GTB

Is that another Ferrari? Yes, it is! Although L.J. would take just about any Ferrari, he chose the Ferrari 488 GTB due to its timeless and impeccable design.

1963 Ferrari 250 SWB California Spyder
Eric, Founder & CEO
1963 Ferrari 250 SWB California Spyder

Last, but not least, we have a yet another Ferrari to add to the OneRequest Dream Garage. Eric, Founder and CEO of OneRequest, chose the 1963 Ferrari 250 SWB California Spyder. What a showstopper, right? Maybe Eric is trying to channel his inner Ferris Bueller and take this car for a spin around town. Zoom zoom!
